DriveWorks Consulting
DriveWorks Implementation & Architecture Consulting
DriveWorks doesn’t decide what’s right. It enforces decisions. We design the logic and structure that express those decisions.
- Built on explicit logic: decisions are defined in rules and models, not implied or assumed.
- Designed for clarity: structure and naming make intent understandable to engineers who didn’t build it.
- Supports growth: the system is structured to provide a stable foundation for future changes.
DriveWorks System Architecture
Each of these affects how the overall system behaves.
DriveWorks Project Architecture
How the DriveWorks project is structured and where logic lives.
Prevents: duplicated logic, hidden dependencies, changes with unintended side effects
Model & Drawing Readiness
Whether existing models and drawings can reliably support automation.
Prevents: rebuild errors, inconsistent drawings.
Forms, Rules, and Logic
Inputs are defined and constrained.
Prevents: undefined options, surprise combinations.
SolidWorks Automation
Automation enforces captured intent across models and drawings.
Prevents: reinterpreting design intent, manual decision points.
Data + SQL
Product data is structured to make the system understandable and maintainable.
Prevents: rule complexity caused by poor data structure.
Integration (ERP / CRM / PDM)
Integration decisions are architecture decisions. Projects are designed with integrations in mind.
Prevents: unclear data ownership, duplicated processes across systems.
How Clients Work With Us
Clients typically engage us in one of the following ways.
New DriveWorks Implementations
Architecting and building DriveWorks systems from the start, with structure and ownership defined early.
Project Refactoring
Stabilizing and restructuring existing DriveWorks projects to support new functionality.
Embedded Implementation Support
Working alongside internal engineering teams during implementation to shape structure, and logic as decisions are made.
Typical outcomes
These are the outcomes clients typically seek.
Faster response time
Quotes and drawings produced in hours instead of days.
Fewer engineering interruptions
Engineering spends less time on repetition and more time addressing real exceptions.
Consistency
Drawings and models are consistent for manufacturing.
FAQ
Do you only work with DriveWorks?
DriveWorks is the core, but the work often includes SolidWorks modeling, drawings, SQL/data, and integration decisions.
I have an existing project. Can you fix it without rebuilding?
Sometimes. We assess the architecture and refactor selectively. Many projects need targeted changes to support missing or new functionality. If a rebuild is genuinely the better option, we’ll say so.
What do you need from us to start?
A real sample: representative models and drawings, and the truth about what breaks today.
Are you a DriveWorks Authorized Services Partner?
Yes. Design Minds Consulting is a DriveWorks Authorized Services Partner.
Ready to build it right?
If you are serious about automation that lasts, let’s talk.
